Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell recently parted with their Pacific Palisades home of about a dozen years. The couple purchased the property in 2004 for a little over $4 million. The home was initially listed at $7.25 million late last summer, and sold for $6.9 million.
The Georgian Revival house dates to 1951, and has been renovated with recessed ceilings and lighting, skylights, and windows; tile and hardwood appear to be original. The kitchen has been designed forcibly in the country style—including the breakfast table, which may or may not have been part of the sale, there are three competing colored check patterns in the room.
The house measures 6,400 square feet, and contains five bedrooms and five baths. The master suite is privately situated, and features two walk-in closets, a fieldstone fireplace, and a sauna.
The home offers French door access to the property from the living room, guest bedrooms, and the room currently in use as a home fitness center. The property is not large, but contains many charming elements, from the winding brick front walk, to the rear brick patio, sandstone pool and spa, and palm-dotted yard.
Kurt Russell’s next screen appearance will be in ‘The Fate of the Furious,’ the most recent installment of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ series, which is set to be released in April. Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron also appear in the film.
Goldie Hawn’s next screen appearance will be in the upcoming film ‘Snatched,’ co-written by Amy Schumer. The film is set to be released in May, and Hawn will co-star with Schumer.
