About a week after listing a Hollywood Hills home for rent at $15K/monthly, Sandra Bullock is offering another residence for an even more short-term lease: a Tybee Island, Georgia Southern-style, at $1.4K/nightly.  With a four-night minimum.

Bullock purchased the home in 2001, for $1.5 million. It is one of many properties the actor maintains in her portfolio.

Measuring 3,360 square feet, and containing four bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the home’s design is more island tropical than antebellum, with vaulted, open-trussed ceilings, ceiling fans-a-plenty, and all the light and space one expects from a warm-weather residence. Certainly designed as a vacation home, and not as a primary residence, the layout is absolutely geared toward entertaining and family community, with a soaring, double-height living room the locus of the interior.

Three of the home’s four bedrooms are located on the upper floor; the master suite is on the lower. It contains a private sitting room, and a large but intimate bath. Whitewash throughout the living spaces is complemented nicely with mid-toned hardwood, which warms up the interiors a bit, and gives them a context. Screened and open porches, and fitness and games rooms, round out the interior spaces.

The home is situated on a private lot. The palm-fringed property features a brick patio and pool area, nicely landscaped lawns and gardens, and private beach with boardwalk and dock.
