Luxury watchmaker Blancpain has just unveiled a special-edition model timepiece to honor female horology fans.

The Swiss timepiece maker has delivered again this year with a limited-run watch that is meant to be given to that special someone for Valentine’s Day, a tradition it has kept since the first St. Valentine’s Day edition came onto the scene in 2001.

Each edition of the St. Valentine’s Day ladies watch has always featured a heart motif somewhere on the timepiece, and this year it is found set into the dial at the 12 o’clock thanks to a grouping of 19 rubies.Ruby red hands shaped like Cupid’s arrows are also new additions.

And it isn’t like this stunning timepiece can’t be worn on any other day of the year, especially with the bezel and lugs boasting 68 diamonds set in. Coming in a 29mm super-thin steel case and offering a 160-plus foot water resistance, the new Blancpain timepiece is powered by the brand’s Caliber 913 movement that makes it a perfect option for an everyday watch.

The decadent and delicate 2017 St. Valentine’s Day timepiece comes with red or white alligator leather straps that are interchangeable and crafted in a numbered limited edition run of 99 examples.

Those wanting to get something special for their special someone this Valentine’s Day will need to cut Blancpain a $14,900 check to get their hands on this mesmerizing timepiece.
