Sandra Bullock is offering a Hollywood Hills property for rent. Bullock purchased the home in 2001, for $1.485 million, and has listed it as a rental for $15K monthly.

Dating to 1942, the home boasts an artful use of its location, and its 3,153 square feet of living space. A two-level garage manages to work two bays into the hillside gradient, a meditation garden with water feature and bamboo plantings is nestled into one edge of the property, and the interior holds more than one surprise within its layout: a hall with vaulted ceiling and some improvised-looking angles, a backyard meditation garden with water feature and flagstone pathway, a sleeping loft, an off-white spiral staircase with steel banister and mid-toned hardwood treads.

Incorporated within the home is a solarium with shale flooring; a wall separates it from the kitchen, but a pair of windows bridges the two rooms, and, together with the skylit ceiling, open the kitchen up nicely. The house also features a living room fireplace, master suite with soaking tub and steam shower.

Bullock reportedly listed the property as a rental in 2015, at the price of $18.5K a month. The rent is still a bit steep for the property and neighborhood, but nearer to the going rate. And, hey, it’s Sandra Bullock’s house.

Ms. Bullock’s next screen appearance will be in ‘Ocean’s 8,’ directed by Gary Ross, of ‘Seabiscuit’ fame, and produced by previous ‘Oceans…’ franchise stalwarts Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney.
