Aprilia’s offerings for the 2017 model year embody classic Italian design themes of raw power matched with unique design cues that result in a pair of unique models.

The two bikes, each featuring two variations, are the RSV4 and the Tuono V4 1100. All four models are set to run away with the competition.

First up are the RSV4 bikes, which will come in the RR (race replica) and RF (factory) editions. Both earn the same V4 engine that makes 201 horsepower and 85 pound-feet of torque. The re-engineered bikes have been tweaked to comply with Euro 4 emission standards, but that doesn’t mean Aprilia cut the power. Both bikes are a second quicker than their RSV4 predecessors.

The RF packs an upgraded Öhlins NIX 30 fork and TTX monoshock, but the main difference between the two models is the aesthetic, with the RF earning a special Superpole graphic to honor Aprilia’s motorsport triumphs.

The Tuono V4 1100 also comes in RR and RF models and is a little less of a racing tuned example than the RSV4 thanks to a more upright handle position. Both come with a 175 hp V4 engine that packs 89 pound-feet of torque. The RF gets a few extra goodies, too.

The RSV4 RR and RF range from $16,999 to $22,999. The Tuono V4 1100 ranges from $14,999 to $17,999.
