To celebrate the upcoming “The LEGO Batman Movie” and show off some serious building skills, Chevrolet unveiled a life-size, 17-foot long Batmobile built out of LEGO blocks at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Chevy LEGO Batmobile took 222 hours to design, 1,833 hours to build, and over 344,000 bricks.
To complete the project, Chevy enlisted the help of students from the Cody Rouge Community in Detroit to complete the special car that is unfortunately not available for purchase.
Chevy did put up a special webpage showing off all of the features and options of the LEGO Batmobile. Some of the features include Apple Car Play, a V100 engine, and many more very real and unreal car-related items.
“The LEGO Batman Movie” hits theaters on February 10th.
