Ulysse Nardin took to the recent Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva to debut its new InnoVision 2 concept timepiece, a beautiful watch for the future.
The InnoVision 2 celebrates the 10th anniversary of the original InnoVision watch that was released in 2007. Both the original and the InnoVision 2 are based on cues the brand’s Freak collection and boast innovations and designs that Ulysse Nardin has or is planning on adding to production models in the future.
Ulysse Nardin promises 10 innovations packed into the InnoVision 2, which also features a modern exterior design that makes it one of the most impressive watches at the famed show and probably the rest of 2017.
The 10 new innovations in the InnoVision 2 are dual constant escapement, direct Silicium bonding, a Silicium balance wheel, the Grinder automatic winding system, a Sapphire-coated Silicium bridge, 24-karat hard gold wheels, a glass bridge, Super-LumiNova, a 1-11 and 13-23 time display, and three-dimensional glass minute hands.
This InnoVision 2 concept watch serves as a perfect example of the legacy of Ulysse Nardin’s late, great leader, Rolf Schnyder.
