French designer Pierre Cabrera has crafted a statement piece fit for any room with his simply beautiful tulip-shaped lamp that uses technology and top-of-the-line materials to evoke a pleasant response.
Cabrera used Alpine White HI-MACS®, an acrylic solid surface material, to craft his inspiration. The designer first used a paper in order to craft the Tulip with the right curves. Now lasers design each lamp in order for the HI-MACS® to be perfectly intertwined.
The lamp comes in five different sizes: ‘Tulip’20, ‘Tulip’30, ‘Tulip’40, ‘Tulip’50 and ‘Tulip’60, with the latter ones perfectly fitting larger spaces or acting as wall lamps (the number indicates the lamp’s height in centimeters).
The Tulip lamps also come with high-tech features such as Beneito & Faure LEDs. The larger ‘Tulip’50 and ‘Tulip’60 also come with a connected lighting system and a Bluetooth gesture controlled switch/dimmer that can be controlled with a smartphone or tablet to customize the level of the light.
