Montblanc has a penchant for offering tribute collections to worthy artists of all walks of life, and this time around the famed German brand has introduced a collection paying homage to legendary jazz musician Miles Davis.

The Great Characters Miles Davis Edition shows off the craftsmanship Montblanc can produce in the form of a bespoke trumpet-shaped pen, complete with trumpet valves on the clip and a cone boasting the shape of the special Heim mouthpiece Davis was known to use.

There will be three separate pieces in the limited edition Miles Davis collection.

The Fountain Pen edition is set to retail for $905, while the Rollerball has earned a $780 price tag, and the Ballpoint comes with a $710 asking price.
