Pittsburgh Steelers legendary wide receiver Hines Ward has relisted his Atlanta dream mansion for $5.99 million, an over $1.5-million discount from what the house was originally listed for in 2012.
The 2006-built home was fashioned by Ward to look somewhat like the W hotel and holds 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The manse measures in at 12,856 square feet and is situated on a little over 2 acres of land.
Inside, the home boasts dark-colored woodwork, an elevator, formal sitting areas, a poker room, a theater room, a modern kitchen, and two master bedrooms in its layout.
Outside, there is a massive resort-style pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, and a grotto area that offers high-definition TVs and a second spa.
Ward spent his entire 14-season career with the Steelers and is Pittsburgh’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
After retiring in 2011, Ward has stayed busy. He went on to win “Dancing With the Stars” right after he left the NFL in 2011 and currently serves as a pundit for NBC’s football broadcasts.
