The new Pelican BoomCase features a design that was intended to make it the most durable portable speaker system ever produced.

Both rugged and waterproof, the speaker unit is also a piece of sound mastery and contains a 100-Watt amplifier, a pair of 6.5-inch woofers, a 4-inch protected mid-range speaker, and two dome tweeters.

The BoomCase only weighs 16 pounds, and it also comes with a 16-hour battery life, perfect for any day trip that needs music. BoomCase also offers optional add-ons in the form of a carrying strap ($35) and Bluetooth Wireless connectivity ($45).

BoomCase offers its Pelican model in a range of colors with black as the flagship and choices of silver, dark green, yellow, and orange are also available.
