Chemical trader and film producer Joe Newcomb has listed his decked-out mansion in the high-end, guard-gated Carlton Woods golf course neighborhood near Houston for $3.9 million.
Newcomb is looking to relocate to the Los Angeles area in order to focus on his movie production company Truth Entertainment.
Measuring in at over 9,000 square feet, the Texas manse holds seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The home also features a home theater, a paneled office with a built-in executive desk and its own bathroom, family rooms on both the main and upper levels, a gym/playroom, an eat-in kitchen, an informal dining area, and formal dining and living rooms.
Outside, there is a large loggia for al fresco living and dining spaces, an outdoor kitchen complete with a grilling station, and a dark swimming pool. Near the pool is a pavilion that includes its own lounge space, bathroom, wet bar, and recording studio. There’s also a small putting green, lawns filled with sculptures, and a concrete ping-pong table on the property.
