California-based company SpeedX debuted its newest smart bicycle at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in the form of the Unicorn smart road bike.
The Unicorn boasts a built-in cycling computer with a 2.2-inch screen that offers plenty of information including speed, altitude, heart rate, calories, cadence, distance, segment time, weather, and more in real-time.
On top of being “smart,” the Unicorn comes with a super light frame and traditional road bike handles.
SpeedX unveiled its first smart bike on Kickstarter, the Leopard, and it became the most-funded bike project on the crowd-sourcing site.
For the Unicorn, SpeedX returned to Kickstarter to help get it off the ground, which it did by already surpassing its $50,000 goal almost 20 times over since its launch. Don’t worry, though, there are still plenty of savings to be had for those hoping to get in on the ground floor of this beauty that SpeedX plans on delivering by April 2017.
