Following his short stint and recent resignation from his role as the co-host of “Today,” Billy Bush is ready to complete his jolt from the Big Apple and has offloaded his ready-to-renovate townhouse in the Chelsea neighborhood.
The 20-foot wide, four-story townhouse measures in at 4,300 square feet and has been gutted in preparation for a complete renovation and possible expansion.
Bush purchased the home for $8.8 million in late 2015, but he ended up listing the property less than six months later for a shade under $9 million. After the footage of Bush and the current President-Elect disparagingly talking of women made national headlines in October, the asking price of the property was slashed twice. It was last listed for $8.25 million before it sold for an undisclosed fee.
The sale comes with pre-approved plans from ODA architects that will increase the size of the townhouse to about 7,250 square feet with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and three half baths. And that’s not including an additional self-contained apartment for staff or guests that holds another bedroom, bathroom, and its own kitchen.
Additional planned rooms include a gym, a massive living room with walls of windows, a home theater, and a laundry room.
The longtime “Access Hollywood” and “Access Hollywood Live” host still owns a ranch-style home in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, and a large house in Park City, Utah.
