It has been divulged that screenwriters Keith Merryman and David A. Newman were the $1.9 million purchasers of comedian Chris D’Elia’s Los Angeles home in the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood.
Situated behind walls and gates, the Mediterranean-style house holds three bedrooms and four bathrooms within around 2,600 square feet. The property also boasts a number of sitting areas thanks to mature trees and hedges along with a fenced-in swimming pool.
The interior features an office, a media room, city views from the formal dining/living room, and an eat-in kitchen.
Another star-studded previous owner of the Beachwood Canyon home was comedian and late-night TV host Craig Ferguson.
Merryman and Newman are responsible for movies such as “Friends with Benefits” and “Think Like a Man.” The screenwriting duo is also writing and executive producing the television adaptation of “Think Like a Man.”
D’Elia has been featured in two stand-up specials of his own, including “Incorrigible,” which came out last year. He has also acted in the Netflix film “XOXO” and is set to appear in the upcoming movie “Half Magic.”
