Newly established accessory brand Heimat Atlantica is entering the competitive fashion world with a unique new aesthetic.

The Paris-based line was developed by Spanish-born designer Montserrat Alvarez and boasts a contemporary take on a classic look. The bright, structured bags are crafted from hand-woven reed and are paired with handcrafted leather.

Unique embellishments include porcelain fetishes in red, white, and blue that are made by Sargadelos, which is a special workshop known for its tradition of rich Galician history and magic realism.

Even more interesting is the fact that the fetishes are believed to contain special powers that shield owners from curses, help them find love, and even protect their wealth.

The distinct creations have already begun to develop a following with the designer elite like Pascale Mussard of Hermès and Clémence Krzentowski of Galerie Kreo as dedicated buyers.
