An 1135-built medieval castle sitting atop a rocky hill in Siena, Italy, has landed on the market with a $35-million asking price.

The main castle features 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms and a certain luxe aesthetic that was meant for the royalty of a bygone age.

The entire estate comes with nearly 5,000 acres and is complete with two farmhouses that have been painstakingly converted into villas, wine groves, and stunning gardens filled with roses and medicinal plants.

Such a medieval castle wouldn’t be complete without fantastic hunting grounds. Wild boar and deer are to be found all over the property, with a special fenced-in area of just under 450 acres made for both driven and blind hunting.

The massive and ancient property is certainly beautiful, but it does need some tender love and care from the next owner to restore it to its full potential.
