Celebrity hair stylist and founder of his own hair product brand Frédéric Fekkai has placed his duplex apartment in a Manhattan co-op on 953 Fifth Avenue on the market for $8.5 million.

Fekkai scooped up the duplex from late billionaire John Kluge for $7.4 million in 2006. The France-born stylist has given the space a clear European and French vibe thanks to interior design from Robert Couturier.

Features of the property include a library with wood panels from Versailles, five fireplaces, a butler’s pantry, and views of Central Park.

Fekkai is famous for his work as the stylist for Hillary Clinton, Cameron Diaz, Debra Messing, Emma Stone, and more of the social elite. His flagship salon can be found at the top of Bergdorf Goodman’s, its home since 1989. He also has salons in Bendel’s department store, St. Barths, Greenwich, Connecticut, and more places around the world.
