Mike Dirnt, bassist of popular alt-rock band Green Day, has offloaded his home in Ojai, California, for $602,000 via an LLC connected with his name.
The 1960-built bungalow boasts three bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms. The space also includes an eat-in kitchen, hardwood floors, a brick fireplace in the living room, and custom-painted rooms in the 1,200 square feet of space.
Outside, the property boasts drought-tolerant landscaping with mature trees and a brick patio for lounging.
The last time the property sold was for $365,000 four years ago.
Dirnt is part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his role as a founding member of Green Day. His birth name is actually Michael Pritchard, with “Dirnt” stemming from the noise he would make growing up as he played air bass for his friends.
