Television writer and producer Joel Fields has made his modernized 1930s Spanish Revival-style home in the Silver Triangle area of Studio City, California, available as a $10,000-a-month rental.
Fields picked up the two-story, 2,280-square-foot house for $1.805 million in 2006. The property also includes a guesthouse that offers an additional bedroom and bathroom.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is tucked away behind a tall privacy hedge, a massive olive tree, and large and blooming bougainvillea bushes. Features of the house include honey-hued narrow gauge hardwood flooring, a built-in entertainment unit in the family room, and a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a combination of slab-granite and butcher-block countertops.
Outside there is a trellis-covered veranda that offers al fresco eating and a swimming pool situated next to the aforementioned guesthouse.
Fields is credited as a writer or producer on hit shows such as “Ugly Betty,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and the current FX spy thriller “The Americans,” the latter of which he was nominated for a pair of Emmys in 2016.
