Fashion designer Kobi Halperin and his wife, Sagit, recently dropped $6.1 million for the rights to a three-bedroom apartment space found in a landmarked building in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.
Features of the 2,644-square-foot unit include wide-plank white-oak flooring, two exposures, and key-locked elevator access.
The 53-unit building itself also boasts a number of amenities, such as a fitness center, a 75-foot lap pool, a central garden, underground parking, a climate-controlled wine cellar, and even a children’s playroom.
Halperin’s new unit had been listed for $7.9 million. Other spaces in the building include a modest two-bedroom apartment that is listed for $4 million, all the way up to a $55 million penthouse unit.
Pieces from Halperin’s collection can be found at high-end retailers like Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Shopbop, Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales.
