Relonch has taken a step in revolutionizing the way amateur camera users capture the moments around them with its new Relonch 291 camera service that edits and stores images with the simple push of a button.
Once the photo is taken, Relonch uses an Artificial Intelligence powered editor to take the RAW or digital negative files and create an optimal image. It is the ideal service for a photog who doesn’t have the time to mess with the complicated nature of using a typical DSLR.
The camera is simple, including only a power button, a lens, a viewfinder, and a shutter button on the leather-wrapped camera body.
The second the single shutter button is pressed, the resulting image is uploaded to the service, the best shots (meaning not all taken will come back) are selected and then edited by the AI software that Relonch has dubbed Alfred. The user gets the images back the next day through the Relonch mobile app.
Relonch has completely stripped down the 291 to the bare essentials. There is no zoom, LCD screen, flash, or SD card.
The Relonch 291 camera service will cost users $99 a month and won’t fully launch until 2018. The service includes the camera, the data use, the connected app, and the AI editor.
