For aerospace fans that wouldn’t mind having a fashionable engine turbine on their countertop that doubles as an upscale espresso machine, the Aviatore Veloce Turbojet 100 coffee machine from SuperVeloce is here.
As the name implies, only 100 of the Turbojet 100 will be made. The machine is crafted from aviation-quality aluminum alloy, aluminum bronze, and stainless steel. It boasts a design inspired by a prototype military jet engine from multidisciplinary mechanical engineer and designer Paolo Mastroguiseppe.
Brewing with the Aviatore Veloce Turbojet 100 is almost as easy as using a device like a Keurig. Users just have to open up the turbine and add water and freshly ground coffee or tea to the device. As a single-serve, high-pressure brewing device it can make both coffee and tea with ease.
As a bonus, the Turbojet can brew using 110-120 V mains power (America) or 220-240 V mains power (Europe, China, and virtually the rest of the world).
SuperVeloce has also created a V8, V10, and V12 sportscar engine-influenced Nero Carbino pod-type espresso maker for motorheads.
