Andrew Banks has sold his house in Beverly Hills. The film producer and co-founder of Lila 9th productions, who appears on ‘Shark Tank Australia,’ purchased the home in 2012 for $9.2 million.  He recently sold the home at 808 North Alpine for just under $16 million, making a tidy profit; another in a long series of successful turns of business for the sixty-five year old Australian investor.

The home is gated, formal and palatial, with a double-height foyer leading to a twin staircase. There are seven bedrooms and 10 baths within its 10,522 square feet. It also boasts several fireplaces, a home theater, and an elevator. There is a music room/lounge with wet bar, and a gym. A living space is dressed in soothing cobalt blue. The master suite includes a fireplace and sitting room, a terrace with city views, and a sauna. The house was extensively remodeled in 2012; among other alterations: a heat-repelling roof and visual security system.

The half-acre property has just enough room left over for a guest house, swimming pool/spa area, and pool house, which also includes a sauna, as well as an outdoor kitchen. There is a guest house, and a four-car garage.

Andrew Banks co-founded Morgan and Banks, a recruitment firm, in 1985; in 2003 he launched Talent2 International, which went private in 2012. A one-time actor, he has appeared as a panelist on ‘Shark Tank Australia’ since 2015.
