French fashion boutique L’Eclaireur has opened the doors to its first U.S.-based shop in a building that has been given a French-style revival mansion aesthetic in the arts district of West Hollywood.
The fashion collective started by Martine and Armand Hadida in 1980 has brought designers like Dries Van Noten, Comme des Garçons, Maison Martin Margiela, and Yohji Yamamoto to fame.
Daughter of the founders, Meryl Hadida Shabani, will run the new WeHo outpost for the brand. She has already incorporated a wide web of exclusive artists and designer’s work, including Ado Chale, Aristide Najean, Ben Storms, Hans J Wegner, Osvaldo Borsani, Pia Manu, and more.
To top things off, when customers walk in they are greeted immediately by a bright, white chaise lounge crafted by the late-great Zaha Hadid.
When entering L’Eclaireur, guests will enjoy three levels of gallery space made to look like the interior of a home. There is even a terrace that will likely serve as a gathering place for upscale events.
