Former NBA point guard Jordan Farmar has sold his LEED Platinum-certified green home in Las Vegas, Nevada, for $3.45 million.
The three-story, 6,185-square-foot home was completed this year and is filled to the gills with energy-saving and energy-efficient features such as solar panels, a weather-sensitive irrigation system, and intelligent fireplaces. The house was also built with sustainable building materials.
Amenities of the property include an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor TV lounge, an upper deck with a pool table and fire pit, and a subterranean garage. There is also an outdoor lounge area with a massive fire feature that is set against beautiful desert views that can be admired via floor-to-ceiling windows inside the house.
The new owner will enjoy elevator access throughout the home, which holds five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Farmar was drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2006 and won NBA Championships with the team in 2009 and 2010.The former UCLA star also played for the then-New Jersey Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Memphis Grizzlies over his decade-long career.
