Hublot’s partnership with Ferrari has created some beautiful supercar-themed timepieces, and just in time for the close of 2016, the Swiss watch giant has introduced three new models that offer some changes to the Big Bang Ferrari model.
New designs for the case, pushers, and dial were introduced to the Big Bang Ferrari watch, with Hublot saying that the changes were intended to make the wristwatches appear even more like its Ferrari automobile counterparts.
The skeletonized movement of the watch can be seen through sapphire crystal on the dial, and the 60-minute subdial and its date integrator take on the look of a Ferrari tachometer gauge, a subtle yet fitting nod to the supercars to come from the Italian company.
Packed under the hood of the watch is the same UNICO mechanical movement that Hublot makes in-house. The automatic caliber boasts a flyback chronograph and an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
To start the new line off, Hublot will only offer the Big Bang Ferrari watches in limited edition runs. The titanium option will cost $26,600 and be limited to 1,000 examples. The black carbon version will only come in a 500-watch run and comes with a $28,300 price tag. And lastly, the 18k King Gold example will fetch a $42,000 asking price and will also only come limited in a 500-piece run.
