David Chu, the founder of Nautica menswear, has put his 15 Central Park West apartment up for sale. The man with the exquisite taste is looking for a buyer interested in $18.8 million Central Park views.

The 2,367 square-foot apartment, which features equally enthralling views of the Hudson River from its place on the 28th floor, is a two-bedroom affair with large living room, gourmet kitchen, and master suite with marble bath. An additional 1.5 baths, custom closet and storage space, and expansive 124” ceilings complete the breezy appeal.

15 Central Park West, one of the more exclusive buildings in a rather desirable neighborhood, features a world-class restaurant and in-home private dining service; a massive fitness center with lap pool, steam rooms, and sauna; private, climate-controlled wine rooms, and wine cellar with octagonal tasting area; and private screening room that seats 20. Available units start at $5.4 million for a lower-floor, 1K square-foot one-bedroom.

Mr. Chu sold Nautica for a cool billion in 2003, after bringing the company into its heyday as the only strong contender for the RTW crown held by Ralph Lauren. He was born in Taiwan in 1955, and owns David Chu Bespoke, which offers tailoring of some of the world’s finest textiles from its offices and showroom in his Flatiron townhouse. He is currently CEO and chief creative officer for Georg Jensen, the Danish luxury goods company, which he purchased with Investcorp in 2012.
