Volvo has introduced a new concierge service dedicated to its S90 and XC90 models. Owning one of the Swedish brand’s luxury vehicles is now as easy as driving one.

The new pilot program made its debut in San Francisco this month. A smartphone app shows available services, such as refueling, car clean ups, and more based on the Volvo owner’s location.

The requested service is sent to the nearest Volvo service center with the vehicle’s location. A technician then uses a digital key to gain entry to the car. This single-use key is time and location specific for added safety.

The linked Volvo Concierge app can also notify the owner of needed services via app notifications.

There will be over 300 Volvo owners taking part in the beta form of the special concierge program, with more users added as the program is extended.

Volvo has yet to indicate whether or not its customers will be charged an extra fee for the concierge service or if the program comes included with the servicing cost. One thing’s for sure: Owning a Volvo just got a lot more appealing.
