Tony Shalhoub and his wife, actress Brooke Adams, have purchased an Upper West Side apartment on West 81st Street in New York City for $3.995 million.
The Emmy-award winner’s new co-op holds two bedrooms and is situated in a historic pre-war building that was designed in 1930 by Emery Roth.
Amenities of the home include herringbone-pattern hardwood floors, a decorative fireplace, a modernized kitchen complete with a washer/dryer unit, and a number of closets.
There is also a 62-foot long terrace that is wide enough to fit a small table to enjoy the sweeping views of Central Park.
Shalhoub is well known for his portrayal of the OCD-inclined detective Adrian Monk on the hit television show “Monk.” He has also had a recurring role on the show “Nurse Jackie” and has been in movies such as “Spy Kids,” “Cars,” “Cars 2,” “Men in Black,” Men in Black II,” and “Galaxy Quest.”
