The historic Beverly Crest estate that was built for Bert Lahr of “The Wizard of Oz” fame has landed on the market with a $22.8-million asking price.

Other past residents of the 12,000-square-foot home include Betty Grable, Don Johnson, Melanie Griffith, Paul McCartney, and the Osbournes. The 1941-built property was also designed by famous architect-to-the-stars Paul R. Williams, and it holds seven bedrooms and seven baths.

The interior of the Cowardly Lion’s home boasts styling from Ralph Lauren, a trio of powder rooms, and a decked-out chef’s kitchen. The downstairs is for entertaining and features a wood-paneled theater, a two-lane bowling alley, and a speakeasy-style bar.

The plot also includes a 3,000-square-foot guesthouse that has two bedrooms and its own two-car garage and private driveway. The rest of the grounds include a tennis court, swimming pool with a spa, and formal gardens.

The last time Lahr’s former estate sold was 20 years ago for $2.55 million. It’s also currently available as a $100,000-per-month rental.
