The new Sunflower Home Awareness System takes private home defense to an entirely futuristic level thanks to intelligent outdoor sensors and even an aerial drone camera. This offers homeowners a complete view of what is happening to their homes anytime.
Sunflower’s sensors can detect nearly everything outdoors, including sounds, vibrations, and motions. And should the homeowner or user feel like they need to take a closer look at something, they can deploy the camera drone that is capable of sending back live video.
The high-tech sensors feature machine-learning technology that allows them to learn and understand what is happening around them. The best part is that these special Sunflower sensors come in the form of rather attractive garden lights.
These light sensors are also able to deter any probing animals or pests. Should the disturbance turn out to just be a neighbor’s cat, the Sunflower lights can flash, and a warning noise sounds to shoo away the creature. Should an occupant of the house come home, these same lights can gently light the path to the entrance.
The drone lives in what Sunflower calls the “hive,” which is a weatherproof housing that boasts a retractable door and allows the drone to charge when it is not in use. Owners won’t need to operate the drone. It will fly autonomously to the area where suspicious activity has been detected.
All the details, such as the release date for the Sunflower Home Awareness System, have yet to be divulged. It is expected to run as a subscription-based service like many other home security companies.
