Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker have put their Blue Ridge Mountain retreat up for sale. The four-bedroom home, which sits on 2.76 acres on Silver Springs Lake in North Carolina, has an adjusted price of $2.75 million, down from the initial listing price of $3 million.
Located within award-winning golf club Wade Hampton, the 2013 custom-built home is filled with reclaimed, antique timber and natural stone, and commands lovely views of the lake and mountains; the Nantahala River, a natural playground, is nearby. The living room boasts a cathedral ceiling and a dual-room fireplace that also opens into the dining room/kitchen. The Carolina porch offers a kitchenette with grille, and the master suite, located on the first floor, contains a loft with ‘secret’ sitting room and business alcove. The kitchen and master bath feature gold fixtures. The guestrooms are shiplap-cozy; one, a double occupant, features suspended beds. Roddick and his wife Brooklyn Decker are marketing the house due to space issues; the birth of son Hank heralds a growing family.
