If the stock 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S and its 580 horsepower aren’t enough for some, the team over at TechArt is ready to blow them away with its new 911 GTstreet R.
TechArt hasn’t divulged exactly what it has done to the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine found in the rear of the car, but the German tuner has improved the German car’s output to 640 hp and 649 pound-feet of torque.
And for those who want even more power, TechArt has a second package in the works that will come out next year and will boost the ponies under the decklid to 720.
The GTstreet R’s aesthetic is more in line with that of Porche’s GT2 and GT3 examples. Most of the new body components are crafted from carbon fiber, including the front hood, wheel arches, and front and rear splitters. TechArt has also added a large rear wing.
TechArt matched the interior trim of the GTstreet R to the exterior finish with two types of packages available. The Exclusive package boasts plenty of leather throughout while the Clubsport pack features a rollbar, a six-point harness, and door opening loops.
