Talented designer Henrik Fisker is back in the electric vehicle game with the release of his new Fisker EMotion, a model made to rival Tesla and even his former company (now named Karma Automotive).
The EMotion comes in the form of a stylish sedan that boasts the sleek lines Danish-born Fisker is known for. The electric speedster features a curved windshield, butterfly doors, and a low hood, but the model looks a lot like the VLF Force 1 sports car, with Fisker representing the F in VLF.
Fisker made sure the EMotion has exceptional specs with claims of a 161-mph top speed and a 400-mile range. This incredible range surpasses the Tesla Model S by 85 miles, a feat accomplished with graphene battery cells. Fisker also says the body of the EMotion will be crafted from a blend of aluminum and carbon fiber in order to keep the vehicle’s weight down.
The EMotion will be revealed sometime in 2017, with Fisker saying the model will be made at “an existing facility in the U.S.A.,” which could possibly be VLF Automotives base in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
