Former talk show host and current Fox News Channel correspondent Geraldo Rivera has listed his Upper East Side apartment for $7.2 million, $1.6 million more than he purchased the property for back in May 2015.
The 2,500-square-foot unit is located in a building on 89th Street and underwent a four-month renovation before Rivera and his wife moved into the four-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment.
The home boasts oak flooring, oversized windows that offer views of Central Park, and a windowed kitchen.
Rivera didn’t move far when he picked up this space for $5.6 million a year and a half ago. He and his wife already lived in a different unit in the same building.
Rivera’s talk show “Geraldo” began in 1987 and enjoyed an 11-year run. He also hosted “Rivera Live” on CNBC from 1994 to 2001. Rivera reported on the Iraq war for Fox News Channel after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and has continued to work for the channel in various capacities ever since. Rivera has also appeared on shows like “The Celebrity Apprentice” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
