Eight years is a long time for anyone to have a house for sale, but Scottie Pippen, the retired basketball superstar, remains optimistic. He’s had his private resort in Fort Lauderdale on the market for the better part of a decade. And, since it was initially offered at $15 million, it’s come down in price about thirty percent, to $10.9 million—unless you take the 55′ Van Dutch yacht with it, which brings the price to $12.5 million.

At nearly 13,500 square feet over three stories, and boasting six bedrooms and nine baths, the 2004 Venetian-style home sits at the heart of a three-acre property that includes a regulation basketball court, a free-form pool with waterfalls and waterslide, a putting green, and a playground, all with 215 feet of waterfront. The house itself features a movie theater, temperature-controlled wine room, gym and fitness studio, sprawling living and entertainment rooms, and terrace with outdoor kitchen.

Pippen became a Chicago Bull in 1987, and, mentored by fellow legend Michael Jordan, quickly rose to prominence as an enormously talented athlete, and a well-rounded powerhouse player skilled at angled three-point shooting, guarding, stealing, penetration, and rebounding. He remained with the team eleven seasons before moving on to the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers, and played on the 1992 U.S. men’s Olympic team; he was a seven-time NBA All-Star and, in 1996, named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.
