A house formerly belonging to Elvis and Priscilla Presley in the Trousdale Estates section of Beverly Hills, California, has hit the open market again after a two-year break from the market.
The home was listed for the first time in over 20 years when it first became available in 2012. It was Peter Morton who eventually bought the property for $9.8 million, and it was said that the Hard Rock Café founder planned on tearing down the house in order to redevelop on the valuable parcel it is situated on. After a major public outcry was made for Morton not to do so, he sold the Elvis estate for $14.5 million in 2014.
Now the entity that acquired it is ready to cash in and more-than double-up on its investment after just listing The King of Rock and Roll’s former home for $30 million.
The 1958-built French Regency-themed, 5,367-square-foot home appears to have undergone a renovation, including new floors, paint, a complete kitchen upgrade, and a new laundry room. There is also new electrical wiring and the pool and spa have been resurfaced. The hillside property comes with a carport, motor court, and an attached guesthouse.
Elvis and Priscilla lived in the three-bedroom home from 1967 to 1973.
