French aerospace firm Dassault delivered its first Falcon 8X long-range business jet to European air charter company Amjet this month, making the Greek-based charter service the first company to offer the Falcon 8X.
The 8X is officially the next generation of the Falcon 7X, with the newly introduced jet boasting a larger cabin with up to 30 layout options and a longer range. Dassault gave the Falcon 8X a 7,422 mile non-stop range with the personal jet having the ability to reach speeds of up to 425 mph.
Dassault’s Falcon 8X also comes with a $58 million price tag should any companies or interested parties like to get their hands on one of the airplanes.
Dassault received EASA and FAA certification for the 8X this past June, and the long-range example enters regular use right on schedule, coming to fruition almost exactly two years after it was announced.
The French brand has more deliveries already planned for customers around the world, including in Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
