Taking a trip to a local juice bar to get high-quality and high-nutrient juice is time-consuming and not very cost effective for the avid consumer. Enter Juicero, which makes healthy juicing as easy as using a countertop Keurig-like machine.
Instead of slicing and dicing fruit, Juicero owners receive individual juice packs containing cut and triple-washed fruit and vegetable blends that have no preservatives. These packs cost $5 to $7 and are shipped overnight in insulated boxes in groups of five.
Juicero syncs to the user’s smartphone and connects to Wi-Fi to scan the packs it is juicing to ensure freshness. The app allows users to view inventory, nutrition information, and where the fruit and veggies are sourced from.
Using the Juicero is as easy as popping in one of the packs, pressing the button, and waiting about three minutes for eight ounces of cold-pressed and completely organic juice. The best part is there’s no clean-up necessary.
Juicero costs $700. It’s currently available in Arizona, California, and Nevada, with nationwide ability expected in 2017.
