A behemoth Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner has been completely redesigned and now pairs a lavish home atmosphere with the ability to fly anywhere in the world.
The one-of-a-kind aircraft was turned into a flying home for the anonymous owner by Washington-based company Kestrel Aviation Management. Kestrel stripped the cabin bare and teamed up with Pierrejean Design and Greenpoint Technologies to complete the upscale interior design.
The ceiling has been raised and the walls have been tweaked to allow for 18-inch-by-10-inch windows and offer an open and airy feel in the cabin.
Inside, there are twin sofas that can slide together electronically and a massive 55-inch video screen. The luxurious cabin also boasts four single seats with pop-out tables and a pair of coffee tables that can be raised up and turned into a dining room table with seating for up to six people.
The bespoke Dreamliner features a master suite that has been given extra soundproofing to maximize rest, a California king bed, a refrigerator, a 42-inch video screen, and shelves lined with electronic candles for mood lighting. The master bathroom is equally opulent, with dual sinks and a heated marble floor. There is also a dressing area that includes multiple closets, including a separate shoe closet, a safe, and bureaus.
Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, leather-covered bulkheads, wood-veneer floors, blackout window shades, and accent lighting. It’s impossible to list every feature; let’s just say this well-appointed jet has all the amenities one could ever want.
