Austin Rivers put pen to paper on a new three-year, $35.7 million deal to stay with the Los Angeles Clippers this past summer, and now the guard has made another splash with the $6.1 million purchase of a Pacific Palisades, California, home.
The newly built, 7,400-square-foot Traditional-style multi-level house holds six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Rivers’ new pad was designed to accommodate for indoor-outdoor entertaining, boasting a rooftop deck, balconies, and pocketing glass that all offer city to ocean views. The lower level includes a great room with an enclosed wine wall, a home theater, and an office. The top floor holds a master suite with its own private terrace and a two-sided fireplace that is shared by the bathroom and bedroom.
Outside, there is a swimming pool and spa, an outdoor living room, a built-in barbecue, and landscaped lawns.
Rivers, 24, scored a career-best 8.9 points-per-game last season during his first full year with the Clippers. His father, Doc Rivers, is the team’s head coach and President of Basketball Operations.
