Anyone who recalls MTV’s early 2000s reality show The Osbournes will consider it fitting, but for those who didn’t know, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have rather stately real estate taste, a fact you might not expect, given Ozzy’s reputation for hard partying and, err, bat-eating.
The former Black Sabbath singer and his wife/manager have been renting a home in the 90210 area code—listed prior to their lease at $50,000 a month—for the last four years, and though the two reportedly went through a rough patch recently, things appear to be all sewn up in the Osbourne home.
Now it looks like they’ll be finding new digs, as the owners have placed the Beverly Hills mansion on the market with an asking price of $26.895 million.
Constructed in 1955 from a design by celebrity architect Paul R. Williams, the gated, 5,400-square-foot home comes with four bedrooms and six baths. Living spaces include a formal breakfast room with built-in cabinets, a wood-paneled family room, an ovular dining room with intricate moldings, a chef’s kitchen with updated appliances and a master bedroom with a pair of dressing rooms and an attached outdoor spa.
Outdoors, the property boasts a number of formal gardens with plenty of patio space and a multi-level brick deck and an enormous swimming pool.
