The final residence of the late and great Muhammad Ali in Louisville, Kentucky, has landed on the open market for $2.2 million.
Ali snatched up the 2001-built five-bedroom, eight-bathroom home in 2006. The property features a gym, a movie theater, a private guest-bedroom wing, and a wine cellar.
Outside, there are amenities such as a pool with a waterfall, a pool house, a full kitchen, and a basketball court with the University of Louisville logo in the center (Ali’s son is an alum).
Other features include hand-blown glass art used as lighting fixtures, marble and granite throughout the home, and woven veneer wall coverings to add a unique aesthetic.
The Greatest also owned homes in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Michigan at the time of his death this past June.
Ali, born Cassius Clay, was famous for his Heavyweight boxing titles and classic fights with the likes of Joe Frazier and George Forman. The Gold medal winner was also an activist during the Vietnam War, during which time he was charged for draft evasion when he refused to fight based on his religious beliefs.
