BMW’S Motorrad Vision Next 100 is the latest concept from the German company. It serves as an indicator for where the world of bikes is going and leaves the design and driving cues of the present well behind.

Looking like it came out of “Tron,” the Motorrad Vision Next 100 bike connects the rider to the bike and the road like never before.

BMW has made has most notably created a self-balancing function that prevents the motorcycle from tipping over. Specially designed rider clothing joins the concept bike and serves to shield from wind and rain. It can also make the rider warmer or colder based on their desires.

The rider also wears an accompanying smart visor that offers a heads-up display. When the rider is looking straight ahead, the smart glasses are clear, with information only coming in case of obstacles in the road or if the rider wants to see it.

The powerplant for the Motorrad Vision Next 100 concept is a zero-emission unit.

While the Motorrad Vision Next 100 might not come to production any time soon, it hints at what will be cruising down the road one day.
