Sony’s new RX100 V maintains its crown as the Japanese brand’s most impressive point-and-shoot camera with the ability to capture an incredible 24 RAW images per second for 150 shots.
To do this, the relatively small handheld shooter earned a new processor, a built-in RAM chip, and a bigger buffer to make the entire photo snapping process faster and easier.
Taking great pictures is a breeze for the RX100 V’s users thanks to an autofocus system that is the fastest available in its class, with 315 phase detection AF points tracking movement to offer the best shot possible.
The new RX100 V has the same 20.1-megapixel resolution as its predecessor and is now able to record UHD 4K video at a rate of 30/24 fps in five-minute chunks.
Other features include a neutral-density filter, built-in WiFi capabilities, and an onboard electronic viewfinder.
