It’s a busy time in real estate for the creators of Friends. News broke last week that David Crane is looking to sell his ritzy Art Deco-inspired penthouse in Los Angeles. Now, his former creative partner Marta Kauffman has unloaded a Los Angeles home after finalizing her divorce from film composer Michael Skloff.

The Hancock Park home, which was listed off-market for a hair under $8.5 million, has reportedly been purchased by TV personalities Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, who themselves were in the real estate headlines recently for raking in $2.995 million on a Hollywood Hills West home they redesigned.

They reportedly paid $8 million for their new 8,500-square-foot pad, which last sold to Kauffman and Skloff for $1.47 million in 1997. The Spanish revival-style mansion, situated on two-thirds of an acre of palm-lined property, comes with six beds, six bathrooms and a guesthouse perched atop the three-car garage.

Parquet floors in the foyer come in a rustic checkerboard pattern, while arched doorways lead to the herringbone tiled family room and the dining area, featuring an ornately patterned ceiling. The yellow country kitchen comes with bar seating at the center island and all white shaker cabinets, while a formal living room comes with hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Deck space and a swimming pool make the backyard an excellent entertaining destination and the master bedroom exudes coziness with its fireplace and multiple seating areas.
