Emmy-winning director and producer Paris Barclay was able to offload his Valley Village, California, home for $1.762 million after listing the property in August.
The 2006-built contemporary-Mediterranean home sits behind magnolia trees and tall privacy hedges and measures in at 4,880 square feet.
Inside the 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is a two-story living room, a modern kitchen with Italian cabinetry, a family room, and an office. The master suite also includes its own private sitting area and an enclosed balcony that offers views of the backyard.
Barclay, the sitting president of the Directors Guild of America since 2013, purchased the home for $1.65 million back in 2007. Barclay’s credits include work on the shows “The West Wing” and “Sons of Anarchy,” and he won his pair of Primetime Emmy statues for work on the hit show “NYPD Blue.”
