After selling their $6.5 million contemporary mansion in Los Angeles to Kendall Jenner, The Girl on the Train star Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski—of The Office fame—and their two children have moved into the historical Park Slope townhouse they purchased late last year. Renovations kept the family in temporary housing on the Upper East Side until not too long ago.

Lavish wood-paneled walls, ornate molding and geometrically patterned wood beams give the walls and ceilings an artisanal touch, while a gray brick fireplace and contemporary chandelier update the spacious formal dining room.

A small hall from the front door leads to the living room, with a wood-railed staircase, glass-encased built-ins and another fireplace. Off the front of the room is another sitting area with bay windows looking out onto the street. The master bedroom includes space for two sitting areas as well as a fireplace of its own, while granite counters in the kitchen match the backsplash. Heavy-duty stainless steel appliances include a double-wide oven and dishwasher. Out front, the building is clad in intricately carved limestone.

Blunt is making the promotional rounds for The Girl on the Train right now. She hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and will be on the cover of Vogue UK and InStyle magazine next month. Krasinski’s most recent project is the drama The Hollars, for which he received both directorial and acting credits.
