Entrepreneur, artist manager and producer Simon Fuller—the driving force behind the Spice Girls and the American Idol franchise—recently raked in $14.6 million in exchange for his Beverly Hills contemporary craftsman home. That represents a $1.3 million drop from the most recent ask of $15.9 million, which itself was quite the price cut from Fuller’s 2014 listing figure of $21.5 million.

The home was originally constructed in an English Traditional-inspired style back in 1925 with a number of recent updates contemporizing the spread, including the addition of a Marmol Radziner-designed swimming pool. Living areas include a wet bar-equipped media center, an office/den, a gym and sauna, a trio of formal living rooms with French doors offering seamless indoor/outdoor transitions, five bedrooms and a total of eight baths.

A chef’s kitchen comes with an oversized island with bar seating for three, while the glass-doored wine cellar is sure to be a hit with the new owner’s party guests, who will find the privacy hedges surrounding the grounds excellent incentive for taking the fun to one of two spacious terraces outdoors.

Counting the property’s guest house, the home comes with an ample 8,000 square feet of living spaces.

Fuller’s currently partnered with fellow Brit David Beckham in a venture to bring a Major League Soccer team to Miami, with protracted negotiations for the purchase of a stadium site ongoing.
